The Vivid Siren

I have been going to Michelle for years (even before she had her own salon). She has always provided excellent service along with a great personality. She is always honest with you and will make sure know exactly what to expect when getting your hair done with her. I have always felt comfortable in her chair and never leave disappointed 🥰

Michelle has been my stylist since I moved to Staten Island in 2021. Over the years she has consistently made my vivid dreams come true. From one end of the color wheel to the other, short hair, bangs, and BARBER CUTS! Additionally she has taught me how to care for my hair and keep it healthy through any single or double process. The Vivid Siren is the place to be for all of your hair needs!

I’ve been going to Amanda now for a few years and she is a true hair queen! I’ve been trying to find the perfect salon because I feel like a lot of Staten salons never cut/color my hair correctly because I never went for the typical S.I. look (iykyk) and the vibe never matched. The first time I met Amanda, I knew I found my forever stylist. She always listens, understands the look I am going for, and I never leave questioning my hair decisions. Look no further than here! All of the girls are super sweet and you can truly feel like yourself there! 🖤

I can't believe I haven't left a review earlier!! I live in Harlem but will always make the trip to staten island to get my hair blessed by Amanda. Literally no one else can touch my hair, including myself sometimes lol. But seriously, from the theme of the salon to the vibe of the salon to the thoughtful ways in kept in the loop about the hair process and invited to take videos at the end to be featured on the salon Insta, I am always so grateful for my experiences here. Amanda is personable and bubbly and an elder emo like myself so she sees the vision I bring her and amplifies it, always. Thanks for always helping me look even BETTER, Vivid Siren!

Amanda and Michelle are amazing!! I’ve been wanting to experiment with vivid colors for most of my life and it wasn’t until I met Amanda that I finally took the plunge. She is experienced, knowledgeable, informative, and so talented. She’s an absolute pleasure to be around, and she makes you feel so comfortable sitting in her chair. We’ve now transitioned my hair through various different colors while also keeping it strong, and healthy! Since I’ve found Amanda I’ve developed a newfound confidence and get compliments on my hair all the time! Both Amanda and her partner Michelle are two extremely talented stylists and I highly recommend them for anyone looking!
