I recently had the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to my beloved cat, and Bantam Lake Animal Hospital made what could have been an unbearable experience into one filled with compassion and dignity. From the moment I called to schedule, their team was timely and understanding, guiding me through the process without any pressure or rush. The euthanasia itself was handled with such gentleness and sweetness—every staff member involved showed genuine empathy, ensuring both my cat and I felt supported and at peace.
What truly stood out was their exceptional bedside manner, the best I've ever encountered at any vet office. They were completely non-judgmental, acknowledging the deep bond between pets and their humans without a hint of condescension. It's clear they truly care about the animals in their charge and the people who love them, offering affordable services that don't compromise on quality or heart. If you're facing a difficult decision like this, I can't recommend Bantam Lake Animal Hospital enough—they turned a painful moment into a respectful farewell I'll always be grateful for.
I needed to take a dear friend of mine's dog to be put down yesterday. It was a very difficult thing for me to do, and I have never done that before. I didn't know what to expect or how it was going to go.
All I can say is that the Vet and vet tech were incredible!! When we walked into the room there was a candle lit, a beautiful blanket laid on the table. They explained every detail of what was going to happen. They brought me a box of tissues and set it on the table next to me as I sat on the stool holding Jeter in my arms wrapped up in his favorite blanket.
They were very compassionate, they were very calm and respectful. They even asked me if I wanted some water or needed anything. It was an extremely sad situation, I cried a lot! They were very understanding, kind, generous and wanted to make this as easy as possible for him "Jeter" and myself.
In the end I would say as hard as it was it was beautiful what they did. They were extremely comforting to me! They even showed Jeter love themselves.
I would highly recommend this veterinarian office to everyone!!
I also just want to say Thank You so much on behalf of Brandon and I.
I truly appreciate your kindness, your compassion, and your care for Jeter and myself! So Thank You very much!! You guys were wonderful!!
Thanks again for everything!!
I've been an outstanding client with them. The care teams are always so on top of everything, accommodating, overall pur favorite vet office yet.
Bantam Lake Animal Hospital sent us the wonderful flowers after our beloved dog Obie passed. We cannot thank them enough for the great service and attention they gave him. We are grateful to the entire staff, especially Dr. Scheibel.
Being involved in rescue, I’ve seen multiple vets for different needs over the past 6-7 years. Switched to Bantam Lake a few years ago due to a negative experience with my shy dog at a different veterinary office and I couldn’t be happier that I did! Bantam Lake is by far the most accommodating and caring in the area. Dr.Scheibel and her staff truly care about the pets they see. Can’t recommend them enough!
