fantastic children’s programming four days a week, plus more for all other age groups. their children’s section is wonderful and full of activities and different play stations, including a kitchen, a railroad set, and a treehouse. their books are very inclusive. Every employee i’ve interested with is incredibly nice. so grateful to have them in the community!!
Derby Neck Library is a private library available to all Derby residents. They have many programs on their calendar.I do not live in Derby but will be teaching a beginning sewing class for children. I would love to be able to have access to some of their programs.
A wonderful Library with a great area for babies and toddlers!
They have many programs and the librarians are very kind, welcoming and friendly. They are also so sweet to the children, and very accommodating.
We have been to other libraries for baby story time and sensory play and we really like the ambience and activities this library offers.
Plenty of good quality and well maintained toys, a big selection of books, many little play stations for different interests and ages, cute decor and a well organized space, make this one of the best children’s areas we’ve seen so far.
It really shows the commitment and the hard work from the people at the library.
I also overheard them looking into more things to improve the activities/resources which are already awesome.
We drive from another city to Derby just to go to this library.
Thank you to everyone who works at this library for all that you do!!
The staff are all very friendly and great. The selection of everything is great. The only problem I have is the same as the other derby library, is that they let the young kids play overly loud music or just be loud as hell, including swearing and not saying anything to them. It's honestly pretty ridiculous.
Very nice small library, very helpful staff. Limited selection of adult books but still a convenient and useful facility, especially for children. Many educational activities, including lectures on many subjects. Safe and ample parking, also it's open on Sundays. Another benefit is it's proximity to Roseland Pizza!
