So my wife and I love the fried shrimp and fish and chips! My absolute favorite are the scallops. They are the extra large sea scallops! The homemade tartar sauce is also fire!! The owners are a husband wife team and veey friendly. Prices are amazing as well. Highly recommend this place.
E’s Fish and Chips Soul Food Restaurant has an incredible atmosphere that goes along with the delicious food that I bought from the restaurant. I have eaten at this restaurant many times, this particular order, I decided to try the Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens side. The Mac and Cheese was made just right, cheesy, fresh and it had the cooked crust on top of the Mac that we all love. The Collard greens were fresh, not too salty, but smoked just right. I always enjoy trying the sides just to taste the favorites. I absolutely enjoy ordering food and eating from this wonderful restaurant.
Used to go out to the shore every week or two for some good seafood but now I never have to leave the city. One of the best spots in the city and THE best fish spot in the area by a long shot. Mac is top tier, homemade deserts are to die for, owners are super personable and friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable, especially for what you get. I find myself here weekly and have yet to have anything but an incredible meal here. Would rate higher if I could.
I absolutely love the food from this place. The hospitality is immaculate. The food is great. My favorite are the collard greens. OMG reminds me of my great grandma’s collard greens so you know that’s a plus The portions are on point and the prices you can’t beat I highly recommend if you are in Waterbury. Every time I come here, I’m greeted with love . The food is great and it hits your soul. The food is cooked with love and flavor. You must try everything. This place has good vibes and energy. it’s your home away from grandmas house. Thank you and I will be back. blessing to your business
