ProKids Place

Pro Kids at the Waterbury Mall was fun for my kids, but I want to give parents a heads-up. The sign says the play area is for ages 3–10. My kids are 8 and 10 years old but are taller and sometimes they look older than they are for their age. After they started playing, the owner approached us in a very blunt manner and said they were only being allowed to play because there were no younger kids there at the time, and because money is needed. He mentioned if younger kids were already their, my children would not have been allowed to play, but because its empty he allowed them to go in.
I felt my kids were being judged based on their size rather than their actual age, even though they were within the posted age range. Kids come in all shapes and sizes, and that didn’t seem to be taken into consideration. It might be helpful for the business to adjust the sign to a younger age range or add a height requirement to avoid situations like this.
After several comments, I felt uncomfortable and left about 30 minutes earlier. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Just a heads-up for parents whose kids may look older than they are.

Great place for a kids party. The employees were very nice. My grandson's party was there and the kids had an amazing time. Adults also. Thanks for making my grandson's day extra special.

It was closed when I first arrived. I drove 45min with almost 2yr old twins to get there, so I called and the attendant said to give him a half an hour. When he showed up and opened my toddlers had the place to themselves the whole time.

They loved it, and I loved that they could safely enjoy themselves and run around and play without getting hurt, and my older niece was able to play with them so they could get comfortable. The equipment could use a little updating as some of the smaller attractions had ripped material; but overall it was a great time. If there was a small trampoline area it would be perfect, as my niece loves to jump.

AMAZING AMAZING PLACE !! Brought my 8 month old and 2 year old grandchildren for a week as they visited me from out of state. How long you can bring babies for a walk outside ??? so this place really saved me for the week. Safe, Clean, Professional, Friendly. PERFECT PLACE for them to get their energy out.
