Renu Auto Body

My parents have used Renu for as long as I can remember when needing any type of body work done for our vehicles. I was rear-ended this past October and Melissa walked me through the whole process so I could understand exactly what I needed to do. She handled everything along with my insurance and I couldn't have asked for better service. It's hard to find a reputable place these days. Melissa, Tommy and their team is the best around!

They did excellent work on my Silverado. They are fair and honest. Tom offered me alternatives for repair. I would go to them first before you visit any other body shops. You will be pleased.

Great place and great people ! To make a long story short I scratched a rim and scratched the side of my passenger doors on my 2024 Durango these were two separate events in a two week span talk about luck. Tom and Melissa guided me in the right direction when it came to the repairs. they are a gem in Ansonia and the Valley area and I highly recommend them and there work !

I’ve taken my car to Renu twice now for repairs due to accidents. Professional and honest. Melissa really goes the extra mile and is so helpful when working with the insurance companies. My car was repaired in two days! Highly recommend!

I recently moved to CT from NYC, where I lived for 40 yrs. Living in NYC, accidents are bound to happen. I was VERY particular about where I took my car for body work and I had my go-to body shop. After moving to CT, I hadn’t had a need…no “city bumper” to paint every year and not as much aggressive driving. But unfortunately, the inevitable happened. I needed to take my black 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee for collision repair. I looked at a few places and agreed to go with one of Progressive’s recommended shops. After reading the reviews, I said, Hell nah! I canceled that shop and started looking for my own. I read reviews and even though Renu Auto Body was not in network with Progressive’s collision shops, I decided to give them a chance anyway. Best decision I’ve ever made. The reviews were accurate. Melissa is a gem! She kept in touch with me and updated me every step of the way. All I had to do was drop the car off. They handled everything else. She handled cheap Progressive insurance and was able to get the repair done in budget and with all original Jeep parts. I’m now looking at what looks like a brand new Jeep! The body work is as SMOOTH as the day it rolled out of the factory. I was mostly afraid of the “orange peel” paint texture…a lot of body shops don’t take the time to wet sand. But truly, Renu did a great job! They now have a customer for life who hopes he’ll NEVER need them again! But if I do, I know where my car is going!
