Yueming Chang, MD

I don't know what I would have done without DrChang. She has been my oncologist for breast cancer for four years. No matter what question I had she took the time to answer in a way I could understand. I never felt rushed at my appointments. My calls were always returned and it didn't matter if it was at night or the weekend. She is very knowledgeable and kind. Five stars is not enough to give her. Anyone who becomes her patient will be lucky to have her as their Dr. I will always be grateful that I am her patient. She is the best

I want to say so many thanks to my oncology doctor, Dr. Yueming Chang MD, PhD. I was diagnosed with cancer almost two years ago and am now in remission. At every session I was always greeted with a warm smile and an upbeat attitude. At our first meeting she reviewed my biopsy results with me, and being the thorough person she is, took the extra step to have them sent to Yale for a second opinion. Yale’s reading of the biopsy came back with a different result, allowing her to lay out the best treatment plan. She would always take the time to fully answer all of your questions, explain the lab work in laymen’s terms and present the best options. I am very grateful to her and her staff for all of the assistance they provide in scheduling appointments and treatments. She is an amazing doctor that provides excellent care.

Dr. Chang is a wonderful medical oncologist. She listens to everything I say and, more importantly, remembers. She also explains my treatments and test results in terms I can understand. Her demeanor is calm, which is very helpful when you are a new cancer patient and are scared. Overall, she is a very nice and compassionate person, and very knowledgeable about the latest treatments; which is all I need from my doctor. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to her again if the need arises.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yueming Chang for nearly four years. She has been treating my lung cancer which has remained stable, through treatment as well as her advanced knowledge and expertise. Dr. Chang treats her patients with respect, listens to their concerns and explains options in a way that will be easily understood. She’s very empathetic and makes her patient’s feel cared for. Dr. Yueming Chang treated my son for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. My son was 19 at the time of his diagnosis and he also has autism. She was very gentle with him and was careful of discussing the word cancer around him. He was very comfortable with her and he is been in remission almost 5 years now. I would highly recommend her.
