I am so appreciative of Allen Transfer & Storage. They handled the logistics for a family member in the military who had to report overseas and needed personal / professional items shipped. As a family doing this for the first time, everyone was in different states. The team at the office and the team who came to pack for shipment were all very professional. The office team were so knowledgeable. They were very experienced with our scenario, provided guidance to help us prepare, and also were empathetic / understanding for a family doing this for the first time and learning. We wanted everything to be easy for the packing team and right for everyone. Many thanks to the Allen Transfer & Storage Team, while they only control the first part of the shipping process, they gave us confidence, support and shared their knowledge/experience. They packed everything with care and efficiently. Everything arrived overseas safely. It may have been 'material' items that shipped, but our family's heart and hopes were in there too. I highly recommend the Allen Transfer & Storage team. Thank you.
Allen transfer did a local move for us. Everyone was amazing. Probably the best of 7 moves I’ve had. 10,000 lbs moved and only minimal damage which was better than others.
We had a great experience with them! The ladies came and packed us up one day, and then the men came the next day and loaded it. I have zero complaints about this company! They did a fabulous job and were very careful with our items!
We are still dealing with this company and we won't get to our things until January of 2021 but I wanted to specifically write about a few things.
1. Debbie, absolutely sweet and she has really been nice to my husband and I while dealing with her. Great customer service.
2. Sally, HORRIBLE customer service. Acts as if he hates his job and is very rude. He's very short with his responses and somewhat snappy. It's really unnecessary and unfortunate that someone of this caliber is working in an area where he has to deal with people.
3. The movers, they were really nice and the overseer was good at explaining anything and everything to my husband. I'm praying that they packed everything nicely and nothing will be damaged but my husband had nothing but nice things to say about them.
I'll give more or less stars once we retrieve our belongings.
