Apple Montessori Schools & Camps - Warren

My son started there recently at Apple Montessori in Warren and he took no time to transition there.
They have been very caring, thoughtful and have always followed up with all our questions. I feel like he is in good hands when we drop him off!

My son has been enrolled in Apple Montessori in Warren for a year and a half after having been at another facility. The school is beautiful and he loves the Outdoor Classroom, and we love that he will be getting daily swim lessons at camp this summer!

One of the things that struck me right away about Apple was how hands on the administrative staff is. The Director, Ms Donohue, and Assistant Director, Ms Kistler, spend time helping in the classrooms and truly get to know and develop a relationship with each child. When I expressed concern over the timing of my son's move to preschool, we worked together on a timeline my family was comfortable with. The transition plan allowed him to experience parts of the day in his new class for several weeks before he went there full-time, which helped make it go as smooth as possible for all of us.

He had a wonderful experience in the Toddler class where Ms Porcelli, Ms Haskins and Ms Tucker were instrumental in helping him develop confidence, independence and focus. He has only been in Preschool for a few months but we have already seen tremendous growth. After about 2 weeks, he started counting past 20, naming colors in Spanish and knew his birthday, to name a few, and we appreciate Ms Havrilla's patience as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

We have had a great experience with the school and look forward to our baby starting there soon.

Updating my review after having my daughter in the infant class for 6 months. It has been a warm & nurturing experience - Ms Stewart, Ms Ramkrith, Ms Chakradeo, Ms Cardona and Ms Garcia show her so much love & attention there are days she doesn't want to leave! We have discussed the milestones she should be achieving and how they are supporting her in meeting them, and she is thriving in their care. It has also helped give her a level of independence and confidence to explore her surroundings at such a young age. We are very happy to have her at Apple in Warren!

My daughter has been in Ms. Havrilla’s class since September after having a rough experience at a previous daycare. Ms. H and the Apple team of teachers have been extremely patient with her as she adjusted to the new environment and got to trust the teachers. My daughter went from being terrified of school to now leaving every morning excited to go so she can hang out with her friends and teachers. Her vocabulary and speech have also improved tremendously. As a parent it really warms my heart to know my daughter is in such good care when I send her to school. Ms. Havrilla, Ms. Donohue and the Apple team have been amazing.

Transferring our 2-year-old to Warren Apple Montessori School was the best decision we could have made. After coming from another preschool, we immediately noticed the difference in both curriculum quality and overall approach to learning. Within a few months, our child truly blossomed — not only emotionally and socially but academically as well.

The curriculum at Apple Montessori goes far beyond the basics that most preschools offer. It’s thoughtfully designed to challenge young minds while still keeping learning joyful and age-appropriate. From mastering the alphabet to developing early skills in math, geography, and even science, our child has gained a wealth of diverse knowledge that many schools don’t even begin to introduce until kindergarten or later. Her teachers have been amazing and I’ve had the opportunity to sit in her classes sessions throughout the years. The administration is very professional and stay true to their mission.

What impresses us most is how the school fosters independence, confidence, and curiosity in such young learners. Our little one is now more than ready for kindergarten — in fact, she is thriving beyond what we thought possible at this age. At her young age my daughter already displaces forward and critical thinking skills. Apple Montessori has truly laid a solid foundation for a lifetime love of learning, and we are so grateful for the nurturing environment they’ve created for our little girl.

I highly recommend Warren Apple Montessori to any parent looking for an enriching and well-rounded early education for their child!
