What really sets her apart is how well she understands her students—she tailors each lesson to their needs and uses the right techniques to bring out their very best. She encourages her students to be confident and attempt levels of singing you possibly thought impossible possible, all while making sure my voice stays supported and safe. Emily is such a gem in the NYC / NJ (Jersey City) area! I took a break from Musical Theatre after college and now in my early 30s wanted to get back into singing as it’s something I’m so passionate about. I was classically trained and Emily has helped me develop a more pop/contemporary sound which I never knew I had! Working with her is a joy and I always leave lessons feeling bright and refreshed. Her studio is easy to get to and beautiful. She also has a great setup to show the sheet music and hear yourself on the mic. If you are looking for an amazing teacher whether new to singing or seasoned, Emily is your girl!

Emily is an amazing singing and music teacher. She goes above and beyond to help the students in their needs. I learn something new regarding singing and music every class. I also improve and control my vocals the more classes I go to, aside from being great vocal coach and singing teacher, she has great personality and manners on how to interact with students, she is very respectful, helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend you go and take classes with her. She is the best!
