Fantastic wine shop with a great selection and a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Champagne and White Burg selections are the best at the Shore. Highly recommended.

I came in to pick up a last-minute gift and was hopeful given the shop’s great reviews. Unfortunately, I felt overlooked during my visit. I spent about 15 minutes walking around looking unsure, and although at least three employees made eye contact with me, no one greeted me or offered help.

What stood out most was that an older woman with grey hair glared at me—but warmly greeted and assisted other customers. Initially, I thought it was because I was younger and dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being treated differently because I’m Asian. The woman proceeded to chat with 2 other girls around the same age as me.

Eventually, a kind man (possibly the owner) asked if I needed help, and I appreciated that. I ended up buying two bottles of rosé the lady recommended to the other girls. The bottles were a hit with my friend’s parents.

Still, the experience left a bad impression. All customers should be treated with equal respect and attention. That being said, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, and would be open to visiting again in the future.

When my wife and I vacation in Spring Lake, this is where we buy our wine. The selection is excellent, prices are reasonable, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Kevin helped us select what has become one of our favorite Sancerre wines.

The store is very clean and has a nice variety of snacks (we love the sesame sticks) and accessories (we bought an insulated wine bag).

There is plenty of parking in front of the store, though if you are shopping on 3rd Avenue in Spring Lake you can easily walk here. Definitely pay this store a visit if you are in the area.
