My experience is inspite of being a patient of Dr Patel for years, it is difficult to get an appointment when you call for annual checkup visit. I had to keep a secondary doctor due to this. However when try with the secondary doctor and get an appointment and callback to cancel the appoint with Dr. Patel the front office quickly will always have some appointment within a week or 2. This has happened to me 3-4 times in a row and I strongly believe that this cannot be coincidental. I have no idea why they want to create this (seems like artificial) demand or whether the doctor knows about this. If else the doctor is detail oriented, but his front office is little rough.
Unfortunately I have to be the first to not give a 5 star reviews. I started with Dr Patel last yr and carried insurance I was paying for on my own. Turned out didn't cover much but first visit everything went as you read here. However I now carry state insurance and while they take it he spent my entire last appointment complaining how bad it is and what he can and can't do. While factually he is right and I'm aware what can I do as a patient to change it or help? Not much. The appointment felt rushed and he just sounded frustrated so it was better I do myself a favor and not wait until I'm told they no longer accept that and find somewhere else. I'm sure these 5 star reviews all have insurance he is happy with.
I cannot say enough good things about this practice and this doctor. The two ladies at the front desk are warm and welcoming. The nurse is very nice as well. The doctor is amazing. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and engaging. You are not rushed at all. As a nurse, I appreciate this. I would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Patel is such a lovely human being and a great physician. Very rare these days.
Very nice staff, greats right away. The doctors appointment is detailed, not at all rushed. Nice bedside manners and explained every thing before done. You’re updated for every step and I like I’m informed and invoked in decision making.
