Avon Beach in Avon‑by‑the‑Sea is a cleaner, calmer, family‑friendly Jersey Shore gem—wide sandy shores, gentle waves, easy parking, lifeguards on duty. When you’re parking be aware of the kiosk or QR code posted use the app and don’t get a ticket. Dusk is amazing , dinner on the beach a plus.
This beach is very clean and beautiful. It is a great beach to go with your family; there are several life guards. Everyone keeps to themselves, no loud music is allowed. The water is very clear. I've been there twice this summer and the waves the first time I went were moderate. I was able to play with my kids without worry. The second time I went however the waves were big and a bit rough. Great for surfing.
Easy to get to.... not crowded. Friendly People. Best/cleanest public restooms of ANY boardwalk. Be sure to remember your parking slot number when you go to pay for parking. Great family town
We watched the sunrise in March during the off season, it is really nice between the beautiful beach and nice houses.
Good service crispy pizza fast hot easy access to the highway handicap parking and they do accept credit cards
