Genuinely just had the most frustrating food experience I’ve had in months. I’ve been to this place 3 times. This 3rd time is the last. First time I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. That was ok, nothing spectacular. I didn’t come back for a while, but I like supporting small business so I gave them another chance after a few weeks.

I went again and ordered the same thing. This time was much better. I guess they improved the way they prepare their food.

This 3rd time just plain pissed me off. I ordered the French toast platter. If you look at the menu it says platters come with eggs, bacon, and home fries. Guess what? This one apparently doesn’t. Can you imagine my surprise when I got my order and there were just 3 measly pieces of French toast on an aluminum plate.

I thought it was a mistake. No biggie, they happen. . But the cashier informed me that they don’t come with any of that. So I just paid $8.50 for 3 pieces of French toast that I 100% could have made at home and better.

To top it off, they were burned. Not badly, but enough so that I had to pick at my food and work around the burn pieces. Looks crispy in the picture right? It’s not. Those are pieces of burned whatever. Not going here again anytime soon.

Pretty obvious when the staff shows differential treatment to other customers too.

Born and raised in Jersey but living down south since 2005. I have missed real bagels and when I saw that this location was near my hotel, I knew I had to try it. We ordered online and picked up inside. It was easy and my order was ready and accurate. Let's start with the iced coffee. It was amazing and just what we needed to start the morning. The bagels and cream cheese selections were fantastic. You can't go wrong with a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a toasted poppy bagel. My son loved the Nutella cream cheese on a plain bagel. I wish I could have brought home a dozen before I left but I will definitely stop by when I'm in the area again.

After several friends recommended Bagel Shack I finally checked them out. They are legit purveyors of excellent delicious bagels. The bagels are massive and the sandwiches are generously made.

The whole place is optimized for good service and providing your yummy bagel as quickly as possible.

In addition it’s got great parking, curbside pickup for online orders and a fairly decent online ordering system.

They are permanently part of my bagel rotation!

UPDATE! Best flagels I've ever had. So amazingly good. I also purchased dozens of bagels from Bagel Shack for a catering I was doing for my store, The Little Kitchen. They couldn't have been easier to work with. They loaded our car with hot, amazing bagels and my clients raved about them. Their bagels are huge, crispy outside and soft inside, with great flavor. Very excited to have a new go-to bagel shop so close to home and work. Service is also outstanding. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Posting a pic of their bagels on the buffet I set up. Look at the size of them!

Stopped in and got a tuna sandwich on a sesame bagel. My order was made correctly, staff was great. I will say, the bagels are smaller, more NY style bagels. But sandwich was good, the tuna was fresh and well seasoned, the bagel has a good texture. Next time, I'm getting a flagel with their delicious looking bacon and red onion cream cheese.

Just discovered this gem of a bagel shop, and I’m already planning my next visit. The bagels here are incredibly fluffy—think soft and pillowy on the inside, with just the right amount of chew and a golden, satisfying crust. These aren’t your average grocery store bagels; they’re thick, hearty, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the freshness. We bought 6 plain bagels and two ice coffees for our first visit, and it was great!!!

The staff are super friendly, they greet you as you walk in, and it was smooth and efficient ordering processing all under 6 minutes.

If you're looking for bagels that feel substantial, comforting, and freshly made, this place is worth the visit. A new favorite in Bergen County, NJ!
