Shawn was amazing to work with. He’s a really kind and genuine person who really cares a lot about his birds. He stayed in touch with us the whole time and always answered our questions, which made the experience super great. You can tell he’s really knowledgeable and works very hard. When Shawn asked us if we were going to hand feed the birds, I was a little bit nervous and didn't think I had the confidence or knowledge to do so yet. He asked if we wanted him to hand feed the birds; and we were more than happy. After a few weeks we picked up the birds and brought them home. They turned out so sweet and healthy. I'm really happy with them and super thankful to Shawn. If you're looking for someone who truly loves what he does, Shawn is the one to go to!

Shawn was very knowledgeable about the birds he had. We were just browsing around in the area when we came across BirdsByUs. The environment was very well maintained and the birds were all living happily and clean. All the birds were hand tamed and friendly. After looking over a few of the parrots we chose our baby Crimson (Cherry Headed Conure) He’s a very gentle bird that loves to hang with you wherever you go and loves the attention and snuggling. He even follows after us when we walk away. Upon purchase of our bird (still in the hand feeding phase) Shawn had demonstrated the proper way to mix the formula, how to hold the bird and how to feed with the syringe. Very helpful. Thank you Shawn for the well mannered bird that’s shown no issues in being held and cared for. We will be making another trip up sometime for another bird.

So this review is a few months too late but we can easily say what an incredible experience it was getting our sweet Pickles (Green Cheek Conure) from Shawn. His knowledge is amazing and his guidance was top notch. Thank you again Shawn for the wonderful experience but mostly for this amazing bird!! Do not go anywhere else but Shawn for birds!!!

Shawn is truly a great kind guy who devotes his time and patience into providing the right bird for you. The moment we met him it was clear he was extremely knowledgeable in breeding birds and in the care for them. He was super patient with my family and I while we were looking around for the perfect feathered friend, informing us of all the pros AND cons ensuring that we knew what we were getting ourselves into and knew the ways to properly care for our bird. The place was super clean and tidy as well.. This is a great place and we are excited to support again

I can't recommend Shawn enough! His facilities are spotless, he gave my wife and I the time to see his birds and hold them, and he's been graciously in touch with me for the past 3 weeks about any questions that I have had. His birds are friendly and clearly well cared for. Shawn has been professional, and he prioritizes customer care and the well being of his birds! I wish that I could give him 6 stars!!
