I purchased my 2021 MINI JCW Clubman as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle from MINI of Pittsburgh with just over 3,000 miles on it. I had owned many cars before, but this was my first MINI and the one I kept the longest.
After nearly 5 years and 79,200 miles, the transmission failed. I was honestly expecting a difficult process, given the reputation BMW of North America often gets. But to my surprise, BMW NA fully covered the transmission replacement under the CPO warranty — no issues, no stress, no delays.
BMW of North America gets a lot of negative reviews, but they absolutely stood behind their product in my case. I want to say thank you, this is how a certified pre-owned program should work.
