We went in for student evaluation and met with Prof Calderone. She did a very honest evaluation and guided us in the right direction amidst other schools who are ready take your tuition. We can’t wait to start classes with the school!
Very highly recommended!
Professor Calderon pays attention to each kid and runs her school effectively. Highly recommend!
This is very professional music school. Prof. Calderone goes above and beyond to make sure students understand the subject and help them as necessary. My six year old made good progress in two months.
Teacher are very knowledgeable and punctual. Highly recommend for music classes.
If you or your kids want to learn music and musical instruments, then this is the place to be! So very thankful to live near the East Hanover location to have my kids start getting lessons here. Professor Calderone and her staff are amazing and have extensive experience. They genuinely care to teach and only teach if the child is interested and ready. My little one is just getting started here, but I am positive I will have so much more to add to this review later.
We are very fortunate to have found Prof. Calderone and her school of music.
Our elder daughter has been taking violin lesson at the school for the past 3-4 year now, and soon our younger daughter will start her journey of music there.
When it comes to teaching, it is about the teachers, but it is also about dedication and devotion, and that's what distinguish the Calderone school of music from the rest. Professor Calderone treats this school not as a business but foremost as a mission. She really (and only) cares about what is the best for the students: does the kid really like the instrument, does the kid get the instructions that fit his/her level at the stage, and so on.
At the school's new Springfield office, a wall is decorated with plates of honor dating all the way back to the 80s. To me, those are not just names of some individuals, they represent the joint efforts from generations of musicians, students and teachers, and most of all, professor Calderone herself.
I wish every parents who want to explore music for their kids have a chance to talk to the professor and try it out by themselves.
