I made a reservation at this marina for August 17th for a fuel stop and overnight stay with a tentative arrival for 3:00 pm. Due to the pending storm coming in we had to double our travel times to make the ICW prior to hurricane Erin making travel in the open ocean no longer an option.
We arrived a day early and just a little before 6:00 pm to find “Amber” waiting at the fuel dock to help us with getting our lines secure and lined up for a solid approach.
After we were fueled up Amber was able to get us in behind the fuel dock for the evening and allowed us to plug into the outlet outside of the ship store so we would have 120 for our overnight stay. She was also willing to work with us after the normal closing hours allowing us to get a few provisions in the ship store as well as handing us a card for the local restaurant that offers her customers a discount.

On a recent trip from Boston to VA on my new Hatteras we were looking for a place to stop for fuel. New York prices were ridiculous and options along NJ are few. We found Captain Bills on Google and are so glad we did! Bill was super friendly and assisted us docking in high winds, helped us fuel up and let us use his restroom before getting back underway. A great business with excellent fuel prices!
