The Closter Nature Center is a nice little escape from the busyness of town. It’s quiet and peaceful, and I love that it gives you a chance to slow down and just be outside.

That said, the trails could use a bit more care. Some areas felt uneven and overgrown, so be ready for that if you’re bringing kids or anyone who isn’t super steady on their feet. Nothing unsafe, just not as well maintained as I expected.

The center itself feels welcoming and low-key, and the staff were friendly. It’s not a big place, more of a quick nature walk than a day-long outing but it’s still worth a visit if you’re nearby and want some fresh air.

Raw and natural. It is beautiful and raw trail with minimal board walk and maximum natural walk.

Personal note: not too good for after fall or during end of fall as its all full of dry leaves and not so much fun.
No cleaning. No picnic benches or like inside during trails.
A lot of picnic benches near the centre.

This was a beautiful experience. I would 100% go again. THE LAKE was so beautiful. 5 out of 5 100% recommend. And the birds singing was the cherry on top. The ducks were my favorite part and the fishing was mid they were playing music it was a vibe. I just really enjoy my time there.

Great trails, pretty easy and can bring your kids as well. If it rains, hiking is going to be pretty muddy there. Decent amount of bugs but overall will be back. 🥾🚶🌲🌳

Fabulous park. Very intricate and cool. Lots of deer wondering around. Beautiful birds. Beautiful pond. Bring some insect repellent. Lots of mosquitoes in the afternoon.
