Visiting Crosswicks Creek Park was a delightful escape into nature! The winding trails along the creek offered peaceful views of waterfowl, lush greenery, and quiet spots perfect for reflection. The shaded picnic areas and benches provided great places to pause, enjoy a snack, or simply soak in the natural surroundings. What really stood out was the park’s well-maintained trails and the calming sound of the flowing creek. Whether for a leisurely walk, birdwatching, or a serene afternoon outdoors, Crosswicks Creek Park is a hidden gem worth exploring!

Beautiful old homestead with an old barn, old farmhouse and gristmill. It was empty on a warm sunny Saturday. If you don't like crowds and want a picnic, it's a great place with lovely grounds and a creek. The only reason I'm giving 4 vs 5 stars is that there are really no paths or trails, which most parks offer. I went to hike a trail with my dog, and there weren't any, but enjoyed the park.

The trail was like walking in fields of gold.....very beautiful and relaxing on a cool day. We were the only car there so had the whole trial to ourselves. The trail is grass so could be hard to walk through if high.

If you're a history buff, there is also buildings and a mill you can visit to learn about the Waln family.

Absolutely loved the older buildings, the staff was very knowledgeable and eager to inform. The site is well maintained in very good condition. Parking is a dirt lot, some of the structures had demonstrations going on. The restrooms were very clean. Lots to see.
The trails are hard dirt. There's a well appointed map available. The scenery is also gorgeous.
