Dhyana Yoga Studio is truly special. I started coming here about three months ago while looking for a studio that offered high-quality instruction and a welcoming environment, and Dhyana has exceeded every expectation.
The instructors are exceptional — knowledgeable, intentional, and genuinely invested in their students. Classes are thoughtfully structured and clearly cued across yoga, aerial yoga, barre, and body sculpt, with options offered in a hot format for an added challenge.
The studio itself is beautiful — calm, thoughtfully designed, and grounding the moment you walk in.
What truly sets Dhyana apart is the sense of community. From my first class, I felt welcomed and supported. I leave every class feeling stronger, more grounded, and cared for, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found Dhyana.
I’ve been attending the Monday evening barre class since last January and have enjoyed it immensely. I also sometimes attend another barre class during the week. Both instructors are awesome. With my age and arthritis I am challenged for many things in this class and push myself as far as I can go often times modifying. I leave there feeling so much better then when I came in. I really enjoy this class at Dhyana Yoga.
The classes are fun and there is a great sense of community, which I really appreciated. However, I do want to share some feedback specifically about the barre classes. As a former barre instructor, it was disappointing to see many participants using incorrect form without receiving corrections. Proper alignment and technique are essential in barre, both for safety and effectiveness, yet the instructors rarely circulated the room to offer adjustments beyond demonstration. The lack of mirrors, combined with minimal hands-on instruction, also made it difficult to monitor and maintain proper form.
Overall, it felt more like a wellness community club than a studio truly focused on barre technique and structured programming. I come to a studio to be challenged, pushed, and to grow in my practice, but I often found class time focused on activities such as journaling, which I personally do not feel comfortable with during a workout. I was looking for a more technique-driven experience where I could feel confident that movements were being performed safely and correctly.
Additionally, the flow of the workouts often felt improvised rather than intentionally programmed. For example, combinations included movements like jump squats at the barre with resistance, followed by deep squats and repeatedly coming up and down onto the knees. I specifically remember multiple members expressing knee pain during class, which reinforced the importance of proper instruction, form correction, and thoughtful sequencing rather than solely demonstrating movements.
I genuinely hope these aspects evolve, as this was ultimately my reason for not renewing my membership. Great price and great studio however, I do want to make sure I am taking my workout classes seriously.
Dhyana Yoga has been one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. I fell in love with movement through Yuen’s barre and body sculpt classes, which are both challenging and empowering. Over the past year, I’ve seen incredible progress in my strength and muscle tone, and I always leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and energized. I’m so grateful for this studio and the supportive community it offers.
I joined Dhyana Yoga in July 2025, and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made! I love Body Sculpt and Barre, but Hot Body Sculpt and the heated classes are my absolute favorites. Kaleen, Yuen, Joo, and Amie are all amazing instructors….. their classes are challenging, fun, and leave you feeling so strong and empowered. The studio is always super clean, with lockers and great equipment. They also offer aerial yoga for kids, which my daughter absolutely loved! Classes fill up fast, so definitely book ahead.
