I am looking at getting the lasik procedure done and my primary doctor recommended Dr. Salz. I made an appointment for 8:30, finally was seen at 11:00, and while my questions were answered I was concerned about what my follow up appointments would be based upon Dr. Salz not being considerate of my time and the numerous complaints from many patients concerning this same issue.
Both of my parents' cataract surgeries went well. But office visits with Dr. Salz are very problematic. He is ALWAYS running two hours late. I can understand if these delays were infrequent, but this is not the case.
I don't care about the long time getting my eyes checked. Dr Salz is a dry person but he is very nice. Surgery went great I see like I'm 30 years old again. Highly recommend
I have been going to him since he was at his smaller location and was excellent but as his popularity grew so did the wait and appointment times. Unacceptable to wait for so long to be seen. When I see him I feel rushed. The office tried to push his son for appointments but I wanted D. Alan since been with him for over a decade. Sadly I have seen how the quality has gone down over the years. I know many who has had surgery and speak highly of his operations but the daily exams and routine eye care he does not seem interested in as patients. He is definitely qualified, experienced and has the credentials.
