Dr. Mauricio Lavie

I could not recommend Dr. Lavie more. After many terrible experiences with other dental professionals, I was so relieved to meet with him a couple of years ago. He takes his time with you, thoroughly explains everything until you fully understand, and most important is that he's super honest. I travel from Hoboken to visit him and it's worth the traffic fight. Highly, highly recommend.

Can't say enough about Dr Lavie. Smart, professional, up to date. I'm a dentist and he's who I choose to go to. Add to that a kind wonderful staff and you can't go wrong.

I've not written more than a handful of reviews in my entire life, but this one is overdue. To say I am a challenging patient is an understatement. I was at a point where I needed so much work done and was terrified to begin the process. I have five autoimmune diseases, and lupus is one of the most difficult ones because it dramatically affects my healing time for everything. I needed a dental practice that possessed an abundance of patience and understanding. I received phone calls after appointments to make sure I was doing well. I was given the doctor's cellphone number in case of any issues or concerns. The one time I needed to reach out over a weekend when I was traveling, the doctor immediately returned my call. In addition to the above, the office is immaculate, and the staff is efficient in all aspects.

I happily travel from Brooklyn to see Dr. Mauricio Lavie, and I can confidently say that he is one of a kind. His professionalism, expertise, and amazing bedside manner truly set him apart. Dr. Lavie is undoubtedly the best in his class, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for prosthodontic care.

What truly distinguishes Dr. Lavie is his ability to handle even the most complex cases. I brought my dad to see him for a device to address a complicated situation involving a mouth full of failing implants. Dr. Lavie's dedication and precision in constructing a solution for my dad were truly remarkable. He takes his time and ensures that everything is done top-notch. If you're in need of a prosthodontist, especially for challenging cases, look no further—Dr. Lavie is the absolute best!

I have 3 boys and we have taken them to Dr. Lavie several times. Though clearly competent, he is very aggressive and prescribes excessive, expensive treatments (which in the high rent district he serves, no doubt is very profitable). After suggesting preventative treatments for one of my young sons (age 7 at the time) totaling almost $1,000, I took him to a different dentist for a second opinion. I was told Dr. Lavie's recommendations were excessive and unnecessary, and potentially harmful to the young child. Aggressive dentistry, not to mention excessive x-rays on young children, can do long term damage as well.
