Dr. Shira Goldberg is an extremely caring and empathetic physician. My 92 year old mother had a surprise in home visit today. She had not been to a doctor in about 45 years, and is extremely obstinate when it comes to any medical intervention. After doing some research, I found this service and made an appointment. My mother was unaware of this because we knew she would be agitated, confrontational, and unwilling to be seen. Although she was extremely adverse and voiced her anger when the doctor arrived, Dr. Goldberg did not give up. She was able to make small talk and check her out as much as my mother would allow. You don’t find doctors as patient, caring, and empathetic as Dr. Goldberg. So happy we found her!!
Terribly offensive. Unprofessional, rude and degrading to her patients and their families. She actually yelled at us in a waiting room and proclaimed "Look at me. I'm the doctor, not you!" I am a critical care nurse. I understand everyone has bad days, but if you are a Geriatric Specialist, you should have a little more tact and compassion and aim to help your patients, rather than insulting them. My grandmother was the patient, and today she left Dr. Shira Goldberg's office crying. Thumbs down to the most unprofessional and unethical doctor I've ever encountered. I pity her future students.
