Echo Lake Park

This is a lovely park with ample parking and was quite crowded today. They had a wonderful farmer's market and I purchased many items. It was well run and they have bathrooms available.

Small photogenic park with lake as a focal point that looks much bigger than its actual acreage. Beautiful vistas from many points around the lake. Fair number of quality benches with plaques commemorating people who liked the park. Nature trail is a very nice touch for a city park of such size. There are ample sized parking lots along Maxim Southward Rd, so it should be easy to park in absence of large gatherings.

Echo Park Lake in New Jersey is a fantastic spot for a day out! The calm lake surrounded by vibrant greenery creates a refreshing escape. Kayaking was a highlight—so relaxing to paddle through the serene waters with beautiful views of the surrounding trees and open sky. The walking path is smooth and inviting, perfect for a leisurely stroll while soaking in the natural beauty. The blend of peaceful nature and nearby urban energy makes it a unique destination. It’s an ideal place to unwind, get active, or just enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend visiting this charming lake for a rejuvenating experience!

Nice lake nice scenery not recommended to go after a jersey shower and the fish love to peak but usually don’t go home with you

Gorgeous! We visited the farmers market which has moved here from a parking lot on Rte 9. Can you say upgrade? Easy to get to, Decent nearby parking. Folks were fishing so clearly that's allowable. We'll be back. Nice building with restrooms.
