unfortunately, the house and the exhibition room were closed due to renovation during July 4th opening from 1 pm to 4 pm. And asked people to come back in September. Not sure if both will be open. That’s
They hosted as an ice cream day, which the ice cream was provided across the street. Actually is just ice not ice cream.
The presentation in the store building was showing 2 other people during independent war, instead of formal President Grover Cleveland. In this building, gift shop and postcards of previous photographs were displayed.
Music was played outside and a tent with seats were provided to visitors.

I'm obsessed with the name Grover. Grover is a disease + a Super Star Sesame Street Muppet + a famous musician + a 2 time President. Greatness is built into the name Grover.
Why did parents stop naming their children Grover? Is it because it's a disease? Let's start a campaign to have the President add EVEN more money to the parents who will have kids AND name them Grover. MAKE GROVER GREAT AGAIN !!!

I walk by the Grover Clevland Birthplace when I visit my Mom. It's a wonderful historical slice of NJs early days.

This is currently closed due to construction, but it is a historic gem in Caldwell honoring our 22nd & 24th President. Highly recommend !

Very nice place with a great gift shop at the back. Nice buildings and great staff that is always ready to share amazing knowledge about everything related to GC. Great parking lot too, near the buildings and in a very flat area. Great for mobility.

This was a wonderful tour. Tour guide amazingly knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm and charm. She even sang relevant political songs from the period. Plus Grover Cleveland turns out to be a surprisingly fascinating figure. Highlights include the Baby Ruth candy bar story and details of one of the most meteoric political careers in American history. Lots of lessons for our currently divided electorate.

Had a good experience at Grover Cleveland Birthplace, which I visited before heading to Princeton Cemetery to view Grover Cleveland’s gravesite. On a tour of the house, I learned a lot about the early life and presidency of Grover Cleveland and it is not too far in proximity to his gravesite, so I recommend visiting if you plan on going to Princeton Cemetery, as you can learn a lot about Cleveland that you can’t at a public cemetery without any tours.
