Awesome pieces & prices. Julia (the owner) is so kind, and hosts events like clothing swaps that promote sustainability and community. For Carmel, a place like this is a gem!
Julia, the owner, is incredibly friendly and easygoing. My daughter and I shop here at least once a month and always manage to find some amazing pieces. I also love being able to trade in some of my own clothing for points, which I can then use toward future purchases. It’s such a fun and sustainable way to shop. Julia is a very impressive young entrepreneur — highly recommend her store!
Secondaries carries a nice mix of vintage and current styles of clothing and accessories and offers everything from casual to formal. A few months ago I had a black tie wedding to attend. The day before I realized that the dress I was going to wear was damaged. I stopped by Secondaries in hopes of finding something last minute and walked out with a gorgeous vintage gown that I received many compliments on the next day. Julia, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Nice pieces overall, especially to promote their mission of sustainability. The shop is in a prime location where the “boutique experience” is really needed. Everything is well organized and if you hunt, you’re bound to find something special. However, I can’t help but feel that the aesthetic of the shop as a whole doesn’t match the prices they’re asking for some of the garments.
Shop Secondaries has great, top quality thrift clothing at great prices! The formal gowns and dresses are beautiful! Julia is so sweet and helpful, I highly recommend!
