Italia Barber Shop

My son and I have been going to this barber shop ever since we moved into the area. We will not go anywhere else. This place is amazing. Staff is so friendly and kind. They do such an amazing job with my son. I recommend this place 100%.

I have been going here for years and I love my normal guy.
But wow I went in today and it was wild I came in as a walk in, I did not state that I was in a rush or hurry but the manager I blieve asked one baber if he wanted to cut my hair he refused quickly even though he had no customer.
I wasn't in a rush and was fine by this but this prompted the manager to call in a barber who looked to be on a smoke break.
I said I could wait but the manager said it was just fine.
However the barber came in to cut my hair and he was incredibly angry, he angerly pointed at me and then to his chair.
He proceeded not to speak to me after he asked what I wanted. He huffed and puffed the entire time. So visibly angry to be cutting my hair. I did not get his name because he did not give it but he wore glasses, a fitted ball cap and had the tattoo of a strait razor on his arm.
The guy was so angry...probably at his boss or whatever but man he really was so unhappy and really just couldn't hide it
Like I said I really loved this place and especially my usual guy an older fella, I think Jon is his name but wow I just don't think I would ever go back now.
I don't even write reviews the whole situation just was unnecessarily tense and rude.
Perhaps it was all in fighting but just felt very unwelcoming. I am in there fairly regular, I think that ship has sailed now.

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years and have had great service as well as a great haircut every time. For a while, I bounced around from various barbers and salons but was never really happy with any haircut I got. A friend suggested I go to Italia Barber in Carmel so I did and I haven’t gone anywhere else since! I have my regular person I go to, but I’ve had my hair cut by almost everyone there and always left happy.

Best shop in the county for an excellent cut and experience, been getting my haircuts there for 50+ yrs and now my son gets his hair cut there . After the changing of ownership the professionalism never changed “hates off too the new owners and all involved”. Had to find a new chair and shop in AZ after my move, wasn’t easy….. but I finally did , the men and women of Italia would approve, they do love the NY tips in AZ…… attached pics are my old chair “Dons chair” my new chair and barber , me in front of the new establishment, thanks to all and see you all soon.
