Evangel Church - Scotch Plains

I truly enjoyed the service and will return. It is a diverse congregation and the members are anointed and truly help each other and community. I highly recommend for families and couples looking for a church home. They have ministries for children, youth, adults and family. Grateful to God for bringing me and my family here.

Im a catholic. So didn't hold a lot of promise for me. No changing the bread and wine into the body and blood of christ. No altar. No. Crucifix. No mother Mary. No Stations. Very bland . Yuk

Evangel Church has truly become my spiritual home since I lost my daughter last September. As a Hispanic, I feel a deep sense of belonging here. The church is a vibrant melting pot of diverse ethnicities and cultures, welcoming people from all walks of life. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile. The worship service is nothing short of heavenly; it lifts your spirit and touches your soul.

I bring my three-year-old granddaughter with me, and she absolutely loves Sunday school—she looks forward to church every week! I appreciate that there are three services to choose from, though arriving on time is important because the service from start to finish is truly uplifting. The sermons are inspiring and just what I need to start my week on a positive note. I feel incredibly blessed to have found this church and to be part of this welcoming community.

Great experience. Ambience is amazing. The staff is very friendly. Senior Pastor Chris is Spirit filled. Very humble and down to earth. They have different rooms for kids of different ages.
There is Always something new and exciting ministry work going on.
