George is amazing! I’m Scandinavian with blonde hair, and I did highlights and haircut. He is super skilled, detail-oriented, and uses unique techniques. Highly recommend him!

George gave me the most beautiful haircut. I have spent the past five years getting my hair cut in the West Village in Manhattan and I am never going back. George did such a wonderful job cutting my hair, putting in layers, and styling my hair for my brothers wedding. I enjoyed talking to him and the entire team at First Impressions. I now live in Washington DC and will commute the 3 hours up just to see George from now on.

George is so wonderful! So talented and knowledgeable about hair. He is dedicated to maintaining hair health and never rushes the hair transformation process. One can notice immediately the years of experience as he takes the time to educate his clients. I received beautiful highlights and a gorgeous haircut. Will most definitely be returning in the future and Ive already recommended him to family and friends.

I have been to several different hair salons and none have been able to truly satisfy me. I'm always apprehensive to change hair stylists, so needless to say I was nervous the day of my consultation at First Impression Studio. However, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and made felt at home and all my fears and doubts began to fade away. I loved the kind, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. My consultation was fantastic, from the beginning I could tell that George knew exactly how to approach my new hair makeover. What I wanted to do was nothing quick and simple. I wanted to dye my naturally dark brown hair to red, orange, and yellow, as well as cut my hair. George gave me several options and he was very considerate to keeping my hair as healthy as possible after the process. I counted down the days, minutes, seconds, till my hair appointment. George did an amazing job with my hair, I couldn't have asked for a better result. I also liked how I didn't even have to tell George the style I was going for, he knew right away from the pictures and he had more knowledge about the style than any other hair stylist I've been to. Other hair stylist have laughed at me, looked at me like I had three heads, and asked in a baffled manner, "WHAT THE HECK IS SCENE HAIR?". I'm glad George understood me and was able to give me the hair color and hair cut I've been dreaming of for years! I would recommend First Impression Studio to anyone because they truly are knowledgeable of a variety of styles.
