Have ordered from here several times. Dined in, delivery and pick up. Always hot and fresh. Really solid tomato pie! Terrific salads, apps and entrees. Their beet salad and artichoke francese are standouts.
1st in Class!!!!!! Simply delicious!!!!
Greeted immediately upon entering and soon thereafter greeted by our waiter Nick! Placed our order and food was served timely. First course, pasta fagioli and a pizza. Wow, wow, wow! Fagioli was the best I ever had in my life! Pizza absolutely amazing with imported tomatoes, and a crispy crust right from the first bite!!
Entrees were the balsamic and caramelized onion wings!! Shazam!! Perfect 10!! Wife had the South Philly Chicken Sandwich on lightly toasted Italian bread, freshly fried chicken cutlets, and freshly garlic sauteed broccoli Raab with provolone!! Holy cow!! Off the hook!!
Owner Mark came out to check on everyone’s table and he stopped to chat! Super nice with a great personality!! Needless to say, we will be back!!!!
Excellent pizza! Trenton style pie was great. Chicken Monte Carlo special was delish. Fresh bread was soft and warm. Portions were very generous. Half our food came home. White cloth napkins were classy and appreciated. It was worth the drive even tho we have a lot of good Italian places near us.
Amazing little Italian restaurant. The pasta definitely matches the well known pizza taste. The vodka rigatoni and capellini salsiccia are a must pair with the pizza, the portions are a large size but the richness/flavor of both are decadent. It’s so rich in flavor that you can only eat so much but always end up going back for more.
A fantastic tomato pie don't get me wrong, but nothing really stood out that would bring me back for another. The crust was great, nice and crisp, and a good flavor. In my opinion, there was a bit more cheese than I would have preferred, which led to some excess grease. Although I did enjoy the sauce on the pie, which was on the tart side rather than sweet, there wasn't anything really "pronounced" about it. Again, a good pie, just nothing that left a lasting impression. I would, however, recommend giving Gervasio's a shot to experience the tomato pie for yourself. Great, fast, and friendly staff!
