I have been going to hair plus for 20 years. I currently see Michelle who is fantastic. I get tremendous compliments by my clients and coworkers. I don’t really understand any bad reviews that were given but my experience has been always excellent. If you need a hair stylist I highly recommend Michelle.
Unimpressive and unfriendly service for our 2-year old son. The haircut came out fine, but the place didn’t seem child-friendly whatsoever. When I called to make an appointment, I was assured they had experience with kids. When we brought our son, the greeting and first impression left a bad taste in our mouth and set the tone. The front desk associate showed no interest or enthusiasm to welcome our son for the first time and make him feel comfortable. The hair stylist was nice and she tried, but she seemed unsure and uncomfortable as if she didn’t have experience with kids. Thankfully, our son didn’t cry and sat through the haircut, but we didn’t appreciate limited conversation, interaction or attempts to engage/connect with him. In addition, one of the hair stylists said to another, “I can’t wait to get out of here”, which sums up our experience. We are not returning.
What can I say? I’ve been going to Hairplus for at least four years now. Barbara continues to be pleasant and happy. She continues to do a wonderful job on my color cut and highlights. I highly recommend her, but she is in demand so do plan ahead.
