A great place to worship our Load.
Wanting to get my brother "plugged in" to a
local church, I took him to Hazlet Bible Church on Holmdel Rd. for the 10 AM
Sunday service.
We were greeted with a genuine hometown welcome by Tony just inside. A coffee and pastry table was set up in the foyer.
We warmed our hearts with a couple of contemporary worship songs followed by a fully illustrated explanation of Jesus' directive to celebrate communion in remembrance of His sacrifice. Which was then taken by all.
The sermon given by Pastor Barry was on 2 Timothy. This is expository teaching at it's finest. All scripture and commentary were illustrated on overhead screens.
I cannot give justice, with words, to the compelling and insightful ways of Pastor Barry. He is truly blessed with God's gift of bringing His Word to life.
If you are hungry for the Truth, God's word is being served here. You Will be fed.
