Great pastries. They need to open earlier. They lose so much business. Waiting to be helped and one employee is hanging Christmas decorations while one was serving customers. Hang the decoration once the customers were taken care of. Half hour wait for a cup of coffee and a pastry.
Don’t trust the bad reviews, the Karen’s and Kyle’s can’t help but complain about everything. Have got cookies for every holiday here and all family birthday cakes come from here. The quality and service has never been anything other than exceptional.
I went in for bread. I left with 2 different kinds of bread a pastry and a hot coffee. The service was amazing and the coffee was really good. The rye could be softer, but it's still good.
Update: I finally got to try their cake slices. I ordered tiramisu, napoleon, chocolate almond mousse, puff pastry with rum pastry cream and a strawberry tartlet. I liked all the cakes. However, tartlet was barely filled with pastry cream and was very soggy.
2022 visit: I liked the cookies we ordered. The Rugelach and Linzer cookies had the right amount of sweetness.
