As a mom of 5 boys who try a new sport each season, Back in The Game is a fantastic place for us to get sports equipment. The owner is knowledgeable and so helpful in getting us everything we need. I love the concept of second hand equipment which means we can afford otherwise expensive gear. We just stopped by today to stock up for Fall Ball and 2 of my boys were fitted with great quality, broken in gloves and some nice bats. We bought my one son a cool lacrosse helmet here last year that turned out to be a vintage talking point amongst coaches, which was really special for him. You can't get this type of experience at Dick's!
Robby is awesome. I’ve been here multiple times to purchase cleats since my son outgrows them quickly. He’s always helpful, we recently traded in some cleats and a few bats for a glove and cleats. This place is a treasure and I hope everyone keeps supporting! To make things even better, he’s a Mets fan like me! What more can you ask for!
Been going here for years. I have multiple kids in multiple sports. Have traded in bats for bigger bats. Owner is very helpful and very generous. Has provided a bike for one of my kids that didn't have one. Will be back for a tennis racket when my Daughters schedule allows.
My granddaughter's come to my house every other weekend. They are going to be three and four this year and they are learning how to ride bikes. I didn't want to spend $100 on little bicycles that are only going to be written a few times before they outgrow them, so I tried Facebook marketplace define the used one, what pain in the neck! My husband told me about this store, there were two little bikes that were perfect, and he gave them to me for free!! I couldn't believe i!!! People like this in today's society are fewer and fewer!!! So amazing and generous!!! I will always find things to buy at his store!!
