Holmdel Community United Church of Christ

I have been going to this church for 30 years! Fantastic services with a traditional feel but progressive values, great music, a strong tradition of local and global ministry, and a warm and inclusive congregation. This is a church that feels like home.

Wonderful all-around church! The music, choir, children's service & message to the PEOPLE!! What an amazing group of people! Cool extra is the amazing historic building & cemetery!! Where truly, everyone is welcome, and people are friendly and non-judgmental!

We LOVE Ms. Toni (the nursery school teacher)!!!! My kids are actually too old for the nursery school but we usually get to church a little early for choir practice or setting up Sunday School so my boys get to see Ms. Toni before church. On the few Sundays that we don't go early my boys are devastated to not see her and we MUST stop by after church to see her.

What an amazing community... open to all, fully modern in thought but also full of rich history. This is a gem, and I am so happy to have found this church for my family. It gives us a sense of place and also a way to connect with other caring christians who really mean what they say... EVERYONE is welcome in this place :)

My husband and I happened upon this church as we were planning our wedding and absolutely fell in love with the church - from the facility and the people to the mission of the church and especially the church's pastor, Reverend Rusty Eidmann-Hicks. We loved it so much that we decided to become members shortly having our wedding there. We now commute at least 45 minutes pretty much every Sunday to attend service.

It is an open and affirming church, which was wonderful as it aligned with our beliefs and values.
