My parents were members of this parish for over 30 years, donating thousands.
My dad had a request for a retired parish priest to say his funeral mass.
They apparently don’t allow this. And when the retired priest reached out , he was treated so rudely by the current pastor. Shame on you. This is why people are leaving the Catholic Church in droves, well part of the reason.
We recently had our wedding at The Parish of Saint Mary and we are so happy with how Father Jeff welcomed us into the community. When we were first dating, we used to meet at The Parish of Saint Mary for Sunday Mass and then venture into Red Bank for brunch. We were so delighted that we were able to receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony in such a special place that we held so close to our hearts. Father Jeff delivered a lovely homily and Andrew brilliantly played the organ alongside four incredibly talented instrumentalists. All of our family members and friends in attendance agreed the music was beautiful. The Church is home to lively Sunday Masses, full of young families and active, devout parishioners who some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.

Have been going to St. Mary's for 30 plus years. All my kids sacraments were performed there. I have had nothing but great experiences. Now I have the honor to have my grandkids there.
Beautiful Catholic Church with really good accustics. Probably seats 300 to 400 people comfortably. Large parking lot spread out around the church so you don't have to walk very far. Easy access from both route 34 and Phlanx road.
At morning mass, the assembly was most responsive to the presider, enlivening the dialogue of the mass. The cantor was very effective in leading worship. Praising God in song seemed to fill the chapel. The music is important to me as I serve in music ministry in my own South Jersey parish. The "regulars" easily welcomed my husband and me as first time visitors. I especially enjoyed looking out at the natural beauty of the gardens during the mass. We visited the church and the beautiful grotto before leaving the campus. Overall, our first visit to St Mary's was a very satisfying spiritual experience. We will definitely consider returning when we are in the area.
