Great little sr center..perfect for parties.. we had football banquet in cafeteria
Very nice park with great spots to relax next to the lake.
some thing for everyone it seems!
You'll find a playful area called Imagination Station, shady spots, a little “sprinkler park,” fishing spots, and courts for basketball and volleyball.
The park has a large 40 × 80-foot pavilion, a covered stage, and a gazebo on “the Island” with benches nearby—ideal for parties, ceremonies, or even just relaxing with family, That’s where we had our picnic—enjoying lunch with a view of the lake.
this ares also marked as Roxbury Rotary pavillon. Concert/big gathering, and Roxbury’s Memorial Day Parade and ceremony spot.
The grounds are tidy and well-maintained, with scenic views of the horseshoe-shaped lake that’s especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset
It is a relaxed and welcoming spot for families, friends, and big gatherings. From playgrounds to trails, sports fields to peaceful lake views, it offers a bit of everything.
It is a beautiful park. Nice to walk, being your dog or fish. The day I went they were pots of dog owners with there fur babies. A few people fishing on this quite beautiful day. Others were reading and some were just seating looking at the sky and passing people.
On the other side there is a playground for kids. Track for walking goes around the park. And Roxbury offices for pet licensesing amount others. I absolutely love the quietness of this park. Great area to take pics. The day I went was my birthday and wanted pics here.
I love to go for walks here. I always see people walking their dogs, or a mom/dad teaching their kids to fish. People are friendly and courteous. It never feels crowded, so it's a very peaceful place, even in the busy summer season. Every season is beautiful here, and the park and restrooms are very clean. The walking paths are well maintained. There are various events throughout the year. The playground area is great for kids, consisting of more than just the average jungle gym type equipment. I love the little box filled with books to read while you're there. It's my favorite park in the area.
