Jim is a pretty cool guy, I showed him some herbs he’s never even heard of before lol! From one herbalist to another!! He also seems fair with pricing?
Run by some of the best I've ever seen. Great for medicine AND for cooks and bakers like me for unique spices at fair prices. No better place for herbalists necessities.
I am obsessed with Integrative Herbalism. Not only is this place filled with magical and medicinal herbs, but the owner, Jim, is incredibly knowledgable (a genius, actually). He is thorough and patient with all of his clients and really takes the time to create an INTEGRATIVE approach for anyone who works with him. Could not recommend this place enough, if I could give a million stars, I would!!!
I highly recommend Jim Furey. His knowledge of herbalism and physiology is hard to come by. I've worked with several practitioners in the past but no one has been able to see the big picture but also address the details as well as Jim. He's patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. His recommendations are evidence based and up to date with current research. It's been a great investment for my health.
Wonderful space, great selection of herbs and teas. There are wonderful classes on yoga, Qigong, meditation. Massage therapy and Reiki treatments are also available. Classes on Herbalism, walking tours on picking herbs.
