The librarians are some of the nicest people. I love the activities that they have here for my child and I (diamond art pictures included). It's a small but cozy library near me.

Great vibes and people The city needs to add more funding to this location so they can utilize all that JC can offer to the community here . Come on New Mayor!

    What a lovely library!
Such a warm welcome by wonderful ladies!
It was very easy to open a library card, two ladies helped me and explained everything, loved it! You can borrow up to 50 books for 28 days and extend if needed)) also they organize different events, would definitely visit this library often! 😍

The best library with the kindest librarians! They host fun activities all week for all ages! They have a wide variety of books, no charge if you return a book late and getting a library card is quick and easy. Love this library

(This is a totally unsolicited review)

The Marion Place Free City library is not only a place for those interested in reading and research -- it is HOME in more ways than one. If one walks by, you might almost miss it, as it's smaller than those city-block libraries; but do not let it's physical size define its use and potential for enriching the neighborhood -- it is a quiet oasis (they even have a small but lovely garden in the back where one can read or contemplate) in these otherwise urgent times we live in.

While I am impressed with the amount and variety of books/literature and online services they offer, IT IS THE STAFF that makes everything work so well together as a system serving our neighborhood. They are most helpful in helping find the exact information or books one needs, and get do it with being friendly, yet giving enough space for determining your choices. Charming, without being too familiar, knowledgeable, without being condescending, they always assist my grandchildren and me in making each visit a totally happy and enriching experience, what with the various workshops and child-oriented activities they offer.

From the Head Librarian, DELORES, to librarians SHELLEY and MONY andvthe others, I extend you all my grateful thanks and appreciation. Thank you, JERSEY CITY, for creating such a gem in our neighborhood.

    KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
