Bob the owner of Lee Myles Auto Care in Union, NJ is a nice man and I trust that he did a great job in installing a brand new transmission in my Nissan (we’ll hope for the best). Transmissions are VERY expensive, the total bill was for over $5,200.00. My problem here is that the total cost on the invoice and quoted by Bob over the phone was not what they charged my credit card when I paid. I was charged an extra $155.86 without any warning or prior notice from the cashier or Bob himself. It turns out that I paid an additional 3% of my total bill because I paid with a credit card. Not everyone can afford to pay $5,214.00 in cash! I find this very inconsiderate to their customers. So, if you plan on taking your car for repairs to Lee Myles in Union and paying with a credit or debit card, beware of that unexpected and upsetting extra charge. Ask and look at your paper invoice.
