I began working with LifeWorx almost 2 years ago. They were great from the start. I had started planning with another agency for homecare post-knee replacement. That agency told me a week before my surgery that they would not be able to meet my needs. I contacted LifeWorx feeling stressed by the short time frame to locate a caregiver. They were very responsive and within an hour Leslie sent me information on 3 possible candidates, providing input on who she thought might best meet my needs. We needed assistance again on short notice about 18 months ago when my partner injured himself and was unable to be alone. I contacted LifeWorx at 6:00 the night before we needed assistance and had a caregiver with whom my partner was familiar (from my surgery) at our house at 9:00 the following morning. We have worked primarily with two caregivers, each of whom has brought something special to our care. A couple of weeks ago came downstairs in the house to find my partner and his caregiver sitting at the table at breakfast time talking and laughing. Observing such comfortable and relaxed interactions is a comfort when you must leave your loved one in the care of another. I also commend LifeWorx on their ability to identify caregivers who are willing to work shorter shifts. This is something that I had some difficulty finding with other agencies.

I used Lifeworx when my husband was discharged from the hospital after a serious and long-term illness. We particularly needed night care for him because he was not sleeping and needed a lot of attention at night, and a friend who had used them recommended them to me. The manager I worked with asked very specific questions about my husband’s background, profession, experience and personality, along with, of course, his needs, and assigned an excellent caregiver who fit the bill perfectly. The aide stayed with us for the three months of my husband’s convalescence, arriving late in the evening and departing before breakfast. My husband was well cared for, I got the rest I needed for my daily responsibilities, and I felt completely secure with this healthcare aide who started out as a stranger but became a trusted friend in our home while I slept. I would definitely return to Lifeworx for similar needs and I recommend them highly.

Jeanne and the team were so helpful to me! They found me the perfect person to help care for my home and my two young children. LifeWorx is very thorough in their background checks and resumes of each applicant they sent me. I was lucky enough where the first applicant they sent me was the perfect match!
