Great customer service and response time. Caesar helped me get my lights retrofitted. I installed the Morimoto Mini D2S 5.0’s on my 04 LX470. Used their brackets and mounted the projector to the rear of the bracket. I did have to use washers and nuts to put an upward cant on the projectors in the housing for a good fit. I ran a splitter to utilize the high beam function of the projectors. Much needed upgrade to these lights. BRIGHT!
Really really pleased with the outcome of this repair. Had my Cayman 981 lenses replaced and they look brand new and it has transformed the look of my front end. Will absolutely recommend this to anyone I know who asks.
Ok so I own a 2019 bmw x5 and my driver side headlight developed a lot of water in the headlight, we talking water droplets. I started to worry because to replace that light is a little more than 5k and that was some thing I really wanted to avoid. So I reach out to lightwerkz. Cesar is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. After I sent him Pics we arranged an appointment. I brought the vehicle to him and patiently waited. My man Cesar delivered, he disassembled the entire light, cleaned all the water out, checked for hairline cracks, resealed and installed a brand new lens. All I can say is thanks to lightwerks for not only getting me in asap but also for the workmanship and level of attention given to his work. My headlight is working perfectly and not 1 drop of condensation has come back and all this for not even a fraction of what the head light cost to replace. I will recommend n give my business to lightwerkz any day of the week happily. I mean, just look at the before and after pics. Cesar, you are the man n you know it. Thanks a million and I hope this reviews helps people make the right choice to use lightwerks.
In February 2025 I contacted Lightwerkz to perform their conversion service on my 2003 M5. As the original owner, I value OE-level quality, but with a more updated style, so I also opted for the V4 halos and upgraded bulbs package.
There were some initial delays, but to Ceaser’s credit, he stayed in contact throughout — which I appreciated. When the headlights finally came back, they looked great at first glance, but two serious issues quickly became clear:
1. **High and low beam mismatch** – Only the low beams were upgraded in the “upgraded bulbs” package, leaving the high beams with a noticeably different color. Fixing this required me to spend another $200 on new high beam bulbs.
2. **Halos flickering** – The halos flicker badly, almost like someone rapidly flashing their lights at you on the highway. The solution offered was to hard-wire directly to the battery, which would mean running wires down the engine bay and ruining the clean, stock look I’ve preserved for years. They seem to be this can be hidden but we tried and it can't be give the location of the terminal.
I also, now constantly get a “check side light” warning on the dash. This is fixable if I hard water the halos and put the OE bulbs back in. Lightwerkz admitted this happens on a percentage of these cars and said they’d add a disclaimer to their website — but months later, I still don’t see any warning posted. That information up front would have absolutely changed my decision. Ceaser continued to try and help solve these problems but the solutions are at the end of the day to fix what I consider to be a defective product and ruin the overall quality of the car I’ve owned for 22 years.
Ultimately, what was supposed to be a $2,500 upgrade has left me with halos I can’t use without ruining the engine bay, look and warning lights on my dash. The only real fix now is replacing the entire set with OE headlights at a cost of $5,000.
When I raised these concerns, Lightwerkz told me the product isn’t defective and that I simply need to hard-wire it — which I find unacceptable for a “plug-and-play” service. Meanwhile, the high beam bulbs they sold me also create a distracting “light show” when starting the car.
Had I known the risks and limitations upfront, I would have chosen a basic service and saved myself a lot of time, frustration, and money just to go back to stock. I also find all of this funny since my lights are on their website. As it stands, I cannot recommend this service on this car.
I got my Supra’s lights done here and they’re absolutely amazing! They’re way better than I had imagined and they’re so bright! I feel safe driving at night and not having to constantly worry about not seeing deer anymore is super nice. They also kept me in the loop and would send updates weekly and also asked if I would be interested in any other options while they were doing the work!
