Five stars just doesn’t feel like enough for Little Explorers Early Learning Academy - UPK.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we had found a truly special place. The staff isn’t just professional and knowledgeable — they are incredibly loving, warm, and deeply committed to every child in their care.

Our daughter lights up every morning when we tell her it’s time for school. That kind of joy can’t be faked — it’s the result of being in an environment where she feels safe, celebrated, and genuinely loved. The teachers treat each child like family, noticing the little things, comforting them when needed, and encouraging their growth every step of the way.

They consistently go above and beyond — whether it’s through thoughtful activities, creative learning experiences, or just taking the time to share updates that show how well they know and care for our child. It means the world to us to know she is not only learning and growing, but doing so surrounded by people who truly care.

We’re endlessly grateful to the Little Explorers team for creating such a nurturing and inspiring space. They are helping raise kind, curious, and confident little humans — and we couldn’t imagine a better place for our daughter to begin her journey.

The Little Explorers team has truly become part of our extended family in the four years my children have been with them. We started as a daycare family, moved to the private pre-k, and now attend the West Orange universal pre-k program. We are so thankful to have landed here, as we have built lifelong friendships and set our kids up for academic and social success as they move up to elementary school. Definitely, definitely recommend!!!

Little Explorers truly feels like family. My two boys absolutely love it here. As the community is so close-knit, my boys feel like they can see each other when they have a bad day even though they are in different classes. At pick ups, they are happy and want to talk about their day. A complete behavioral turn-around from our previous daycare experience at another school. Our whole family feels a sense of calm and joy being at Little Explorers. It's a very special place.

I absolutely love Little Explorers!!! I sent my 4 year old son there all last year. The teachers are excellent and would stay in communication with me the whole day through Brightwheel. I was able to see pictures of my son throughout the day and knew exactly what activities he was doing/learning by the detailed message from his teacher. We had Ms Karen and loved her!!! And the owner, Ms Katie, is amazing!!! You can easily tell she loves what she is doing by the way she interacts with the kids!!! She treats them all as if they were her own!!
