Excellent from start to finish. We brought 50 students from Newark, NJ here for wilderness survival skills and outdoor experiences and it was fantastic. This was our 2nd year coming. The staff are super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. They helped make it a wonderful day and were great to plan and work with. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful hidden space. Can't wait to sign up for more programs to explore further!

Went here on an overnight field trip that lasted three nights. Really nice place that teaches you great things about the environment. I loved the classes here and the staff are very nice! Shoutout to Tanya and all the staff here that made this possible. Food is also good and their desserts are amazing! Thanks to everyone at NJSOC who made this a memorable trip that helped us learn more about the climate!

Jay and Paul were excellent teachers for fly fishing. Everything was easy to follow and very informative. It is a great class for beginners.

I’m a teacher and bring my students camping every year with the Joint Activities program that Jersey City offers. The School of Conservation is an amazing experience for my 5th graders who spend 2 nights and 3 days at camp. I would recommend this to anyone who has the ability to go.
