Good food, attentive service, busy kitchen, and very nice mix of music (not as loud as in other peruvian restaurants, although it could still be a tiny bit softer). Loved the ambiance, the white table clothes and fabric napkins; the music variety, the attentiveness, and the food, which was very authentic.
It was our waitress" first day, and she did a fantastic job!
A big surprise was to find aguadito soup on the meni, which was delicious, as well as picarones, a classic dessert from Lima, neither one of which is easily found, except for, on weekends, in some restaurants. They were both fresh and perfectly executed.
Please keep up the good work!
So I found this place on accident on New Years Eve. Everywhere else was closed and was looking for some takeout and SO glad I did! I must say, as a Peruvian, this place truly touched my heart. The pollo a la brasa was everything it should be—juicy, flavorful, and deeply authentic, just like home. You can taste the pride in their food🇵🇪 The owner is so warm and welcoming, you immediately feel like family. It means so much to have a real Peruvian spot nearby that honors our food and culture. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend supporting this restaurant.
If you’re considering going here, DO IT! The food is fantastic. The cooks and servers are so nice. The lighting is perfect, it’s dim but bright enough to see all the glistening meats. I love this place and you will too.
I came for lunch and what a place... truly hidden gem.. Wow... very nice service and everyone is so friendly... the food was delicious and fresh. I tried the rotesary chicken with fries, salad and the Verde sauce on the side. Don't forget to try their peruvian juice, Chicha Murada. You won't be disappointed.
The food here was average overall. The chaufa, in particular, was lacking flavor and could use some improvement. Service was surprisingly slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. On the positive side, the presentation was decent, the space is roomy, and they allow BYOB, which is a nice perk. With some adjustments to flavor and service speed, this place has potential.
