By far the greatest addition to Point Pleasant in a very long time. The staff is the best around, friendly, fast and fun. The bar always has a great crowd full of welcoming patrons. The menu has so much to offer and the food is great. The ghost ship burger is the best burger in town, the skinny fries are better than McDonalds…I know, bold statement but true! From gator bites to seafood boils, short rib nachos to poke bowls, there is something for everyone. The options are far from boring and always delicious. Add live music and and an outdoor area and you have one of the best spots at the Jersey Shore!
Celebrated my Grandma’s 100th Birthday in Point Pleasant! We did some shopping and rolled into Boathouse 401 around 4pm. The atmosphere is relaxed, and most of the meal was very chill, we had great conversations. Somewhere between 5 and 5:30pm it became a little loud as more people filled the surrounding tables. After some time, my aunt couldn’t hear what my grandma was saying, but because she was trying repeatedly to talk louder and my aunt still couldn’t understand her it became a source of great laughter. We laughed so hard, my grandma almost fell off her chair. I’ve never seen her laugh so hard. We were all just present, enjoying the moment together, laughing together, and nothing else mattered…the memory makes me smile, and I’m really grateful for that.
Our server was a pro. She was cool, cheerful, knew the menu well and helped select appetizers. Unfortunately they were sold out of clam strips which was a bummer, but we recovered fast. Between my grandma, my aunt and myself we finished the nacho appetizer, ate half the crab and spinach dip appetizer, and we all had crab cake sandwiches which were really good. Fries were thick and crispy but soft inside. Nice. Wonderful experience down the shore with my NJ family!
Hosted my 30th birthday here over the past weekend and I couldn’t have better things to say about my experience! The service was amazing, the food was raved about, and the space fit everyone comfortably. I had an amazing experience and I would definitely host another event here.
My family and I came here due to their vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered pretzel bites and a personal pizza. The pizza looked pretty good. It was a very thin pie. The bottom looked almost and tasted like matza. I like matza. Ordinarily, I love a beefy slice, but this slice was on my opposite of my spectrum. It was fine for an appetizer.
I ordered a shrimp poke bowl. FANTASTIC! I was given chop sticks and used them! LOL! The bowl had an assortment of vegetables. The bowl was full of flavor and PLENTY of shrimp. AND RADISHES! What a wonderful choice to add.
Our server, Emily, was GREAT! She made time with us even though she was moving and grooving with the place filling up pretty quickly.
Overall, this was a good choice to come eat and hang out!
This is another place that I discovered from good ole Instagram that I had to check out while staying in the area recently.
This bar is super cool and has a great fun vibe. I do recommend having a reservation for dinner as this place looks like it gets packed fast.
My server was friendly and attentive, and I didn't have too much of a wait time for my food orders in spite of the place being super busy. I ordered the Gator Bites and Shrimp Poboy, and both tasted great. I also had an abundance of food where I couldn't finish it all.
This place has a good size food and drinks menu with decent prices and the establishment is clean.
This is definitely a place I would add to my return list the next time I stay in Point Pleasant.
