Such a magical experience here. Making plans to do some exploring down in the tubes!

This place needs to be remodeled and reimagined asap. Been commuting off and on throughout the years and it’s depressing to see how neglected and worrisome this important transit hub is. The environment has really changed here since the start of the pandemic. Though it’s coming back, it’s still hauntingly un-NYC….un-Port Authority.,..but it’s coming back….can do a lot to replace the charging tables that were so helpful. And have a better, freer public WiFi.

The PA collects fares on the tunnels & bridges and rather than using that money to improve the tunnels & bridges they (miss)appropriate it for other activities. FAIL. UPDATE: An additional note, The original deal with the TBTA (Which preceded the MTA) was that tolls would be used ONLY for maintenence & paying off the debt.
