Our family was truly blessed to have found PROUT Funeral Home for our 102 year old mother’s funeral service. From our very first contact with them through the conclusion of the service, they were gentle, loving, caring, comforting, and incredibly helpful with every aspect of her funeral and cremation.

We felt we were able to give our mother a beautiful and meaningful final farewell more than we could have imagined. Our family was extremely pleased and deeply grateful to the entire PROUT Funeral Home team. They are exceptionally professional and full of compassion. When my sister passed away, I traveled from Florida to New Jersey to plan her funeral. Not being from the area, I searched online and was truly blessed to have found Prout Funeral Home.
The care and professionalism they showed in handling my sister’s funeral were absolutely amazing. Everything was done with perfection—they paid close attention to every detail and guided us through every aspect of the planning.
It was an incredibly heartbreaking and difficult time for our family, but Bob was exceptional. His guidance and compassion throughout the entire process alleviated so much of our stress.

The staff are so professional and caring. They did a wonderful job for my cousin Cynthia Bahaw's funeral and final rights. They offer packages that's suitable for just about anything you'd like. The best "perk" was definitely the doggie Morris, who is there to also offer support as a friendly therapy dog. The burial procession was indeed a pleasure to be apart of during this hard time for us. The staff had everything planned out effortlessly and provided continous directions, even on paper. Well executed and coordinated !!My family was so happy that my cousin received the send off she deserved.
