I had such a great experience with my recent visit at Rand! The experience started with the friendly front desk staff. Alex was a dream! She answered all of my questions regarding payments and scheduling with ease and clarity. I had Lulia as my hygienist and she did such a wonderful job. Everything was performed with precision and care. I’m the type that likes a lot of education when I get any sort of procedures done and she was happy and thorough answering all of my questions! I will definitely be going back for my next cleaning! Thank you Alex for suggesting I come sooner to get the Airflow treatment before my wedding! I’m excited to have my best smile for such an important day.

I’ve been a patient at Rand Dental in Flanders, NJ for a few visits, primarily for routine cleanings. The office is clean, the staff is polite and professional, and scheduling is straightforward.

However, during my most recent visit for a routine cleaning, I was informed that the practice now requires x-rays before proceeding with any cleaning. I politely explained that I am not comfortable with routine x-rays (I had declined them on a previous visit as well, and at that time simply signed a waiver acknowledging the refusal). Previously, the office accepted the signed waiver and proceeded with the cleaning without issue.

This time, they stated they could not perform the cleaning unless I agreed to x-rays. I understand that x-rays can be an important diagnostic tool and that dentists want to practice responsibly, but a strict “no x-rays, no cleaning” policy especially for a patient seeking only a routine prophylaxis felt inflexible to me. I was asked to leave without receiving the cleaning I had scheduled.

While I appreciate the team’s commitment to thorough care, I was disappointed by the lack of options for patients who prefer to minimize radiation exposure and are willing to sign an informed refusal.

For anyone considering this practice, be aware that x-rays appear to be mandatory for even basic cleanings.

This is truly an extraordinary dental clinic. From the moment you walk in, you feel cared for and completely at ease. The entire team is incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely listens to your wishes and concerns. I can honestly say this is the best dental clinic I have ever experienced.

Dan is the best he always does A great job is very thorough and informs me of everything before. He really takes the time to make sure I have a great experience at the dentist. I appreciate him and the whole staff at Rand dental. My entire family goes to rand and sees all different dental hygienists and they are all wonderful, but Dan is the man!

I drive an hour just to come to Rand Dental, and it’s absolutely worth every minute! The entire team — from the front desk to the hygienists and doctors — is amazing.

Dr. Lee is truly outstanding. I’ve never experienced any pain during treatment with her, and she always makes me feel so comfortable. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness make every visit a wonderful experience.

Dan, the hygienist, also deserves special mention — he always does a perfect job and makes my teeth feel incredibly clean.
